I appreciate your candor for it reminds me that these droughts happen to all of us in all situations. And if it can happen to people in much more serious states than mine, where sometimes the only thing to hold onto is the LORD Himself, then it is certainly going to happen to me. We have to all be reminded again and again that this life will be full of valleys but the Lord never leaves us alone. I'm grateful that He is patient with me and continues to pursue me every single time I try to busy myself with something easier (and seemingly more fun). I hold onto something I heard years and years ago, and I hope it will encourage you during this time in your life: There can be no shadow in the valley if there is no Light present.
